Eye Examination

Whether you are a returning patient or a nervous first-time customer, you can expect the same level of personal and friendly customer service that sets us apart from our competition.

Your eye examination

There are 3 key elements to your sight test
  • Visual Activity - Our optometrist will assess how well you see and will take the measurements needed to make sure you get the most accurate prescription.
  • Eye Health - This will include a thorough examination of both the exterior and interior of the eyes to access their condition and general health. This also includes field of vision testing to check your all round vision and screening for conditions like glaucoma or dry eye.
  • Muscle Balance - This checks how well your eyes work together by checking the strength of the muscles around them.

After the exmination

At the end of the test, our optometrist will discuss the results with you and we will give you a copy of your prescription. If your eyesight does need some support, you will then have the option to purchase spectacles or contact lenses. Whichever option you choose, you will be well looked after by our qualified Dispensing Opticians, who will talk to you about your style preferences and your everyday routine. We want to know all about you! This helps us provide you with the very best recommendation on what lenses are right for you.
